具体用法:

1.时态语态上有两种情况下用过去完成时。一是有具体时间提示"by+过去时间"，例如We had learned more than 4000 words by the end of the last term；二是句子中有两个动作，一个动作是过去时的动作，另一个发生在该动作之前的动作就用过去完成时。例如When I arrived at the station, the train had left.火车离开的动作发生在我到车站之前。

2.在虚拟语气中用过去完成时。这种情况是用于对过去虚拟的情况下从句的结构中。例如If you had told me about it yesterday, I would not be here now.
